The Art of Faceting
What began as curiosity quickly evolved into a deep appreciation for the precision, artistry, and technical skill behind gemstone faceting.
After developing a strong interest in the craft, I completed a formal lapidary course in Bologna, Italy, under the guidance of master gem cutter Ramon Tesoro. Both beginner and advanced faceting courses were completed, focusing on gemstone optics, symmetry, polishing techniques, and precision cutting methods. Additionally, I honed skills in gemstone photography, capturing the brilliance and unique characteristics of each stone in its best light.
